Feeding the Five Finger Wrasse is straightforward, as it is primarily carnivorous. A varied diet consisting of high-quality marine pellets, frozen or live foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small crustaceans will promote healthy growth and vibrant coloration. It's important to feed multiple small meals throughout the day to mimic its natural foraging behavior.

It should be packed with an appropriate density to minimize stress during transit, ideally with 10-15 liters of water per fish. Temperature sensitivity is a concern, so maintaining a stable environment around 25°C is crucial. This species is not listed under CITES, allowing for smoother export processes.
