Feeding for Litophyton arboreum primarily consists of planktonic foods, such as zooplankton and liquid coral foods, which can be supplemented to enhance growth. While this species can photosynthesize through symbiotic zooxanthellae, it benefits from additional feeding, especially in lower light conditions. This species is not listed under CITES, making it easier for exporters to handle.
