Bemba also appears in black Tropheus trade naming, so the common name alone does not prove the fish belongs to that black form. This supplier identifies its tank-bred 2.5 cm, 5 cm and 6 cm options as duboisi. Exact locality ancestry, selected sex and adult band colour remain unspecified.
