The institutional Neocaridina account explicitly includes Blue Velvet among blue morph names. This does not certify that the supplier line is identical to Blue Dream or Blue Jelly, or that every animal will develop the same blue intensity. The offered grade is 1.25-1.5 cm; breeder locality, sex composition and reproductive state are unspecified.
General freshwater-shrimp trade guidance gives 17-27 C and pH 6.5-8; confirm the breeder conditions for this maintained line. Use mature filtered water with no detectable ammonia or nitrite, grazing surfaces and sheltered cover. Supplement established grazing with suitable shrimp foods, monitor intake and avoid copper-containing treatments and predatory companions. These group-level values are not verified species-specific limits for the offered pedigree.
