These fish prefer slightly softer water, so regular monitoring and adjustments may be necessary. The minimum tank size recommended for these small fish is 30 liters, providing ample space for swimming and hiding.

Feeding Bumblebee Gobies can be quite straightforward, as they are omnivores that will accept a variety of foods. A balanced diet should consist of high-quality flake food, small pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms. Regular feeding 2-3 times a day will help maintain their health and vibrancy.

When introducing Bumblebee Gobies to a new tank, acclimation is crucial. Gradually introduce them to the new environment using the drip acclimation method to minimize stress. Quarantine new arrivals for at least two weeks to prevent the spread of diseases. In terms of compatibility, these fish are best kept with peaceful species that can tolerate similar water conditions. Avoid aggressive tank mates that may stress or harm them.

Bumblebee Gobies are suitable for shipping due to their small size and hardiness. It is recommended to pack them with sufficient oxygen and minimal water to reduce stress during transit. Temperature should be maintained ideally between 24°C to 28°C during shipping. Ensure that the packing density allows for adequate space to prevent injury. This species is not listed under CITES and can be exported without special permits.
