Neon Red Dwarf Gourami

Neon Red is the supplier colour-line designation for this tank-bred dwarf gourami. The catalogue uses Trichogaster lalius; recent taxonomic studies disagree over its relationship to Trichogaster fasciata. The offered line retains its own code and grade without certifying a breeding pedigree, stock sex or final adult colour.

Published aquarium guidance for commercial dwarf gouramis gives 22-27 C, pH 6-7.5 and 2-18 dGH. Provide mature gentle filtration, planted refuges, shade and surface-air access. Manage territorial males and avoid vigorous or fin-nipping companions. Confirm lot sex, feeding and measured holding water before receiving.
