Gastromyzon stellatus is a southern Sarawak hillstream loach. Typical reference fish have a dark body with numerous fine yellow spots and blotches; mature fish can show blue in the caudal fin. Its close resemblance to zebrinus includes intermediate patterns. This wild-caught 3-5 cm offer does not select sex or promise uniform mature colour.
Reference care gives 20-24 C and pH 6.0-7.5. Provide mature, strongly oxygenated flowing water, smooth rocks with algae and biofilm, and a secure cover. Maintain several feeding territories for a group of at least four, avoiding large aggressive companions. Confirm accepted supplementary foods and measured holding water; avoid excessive protein.
MBI-LOA-030 (3 cm - 5 cm): 50 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
Order minimum: MBI-LOA-030: 100 individual fish. Price is per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
