A minimum tank size of 300 liters is recommended to provide sufficient space for swimming and territory establishment.

Feeding should consist of a varied diet that includes high-quality marine flakes, pellet foods, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. This variety ensures that they receive all necessary nutrients. Compatibility is generally good with other peaceful reef fish, but care should be taken when introducing new species to avoid aggression.
