Its hunting behaviour includes lying still against the bottom, a form of playing dead that can draw potential prey close. Reference habitat includes soft sand or mud and vegetation. This is a large predatory cichlid rather than a general small-fish community resident. The offer does not guarantee sex, adult blue colour or a breeding group.
Species guidance gives 24-28 C and pH 7.6-8.8 in hard water. Provide adult-scale mature filtered housing with shelters, open sandy areas and cover. Exclude swallowable fish and offer suitably sized accepted aquatic animal foods; live feeder fish are unnecessary. Confirm breeder conditions and plan compatible adult social housing.
MBI-CIC-047 (7.5 cm): 1 fish per bag; maximum 40 bags per box.
MBI-CIC-047: minimum 20 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
