Tiger Stone Loach

Current taxonomy places this fish in Sundoreonectes rather than its original Nemacheilus grouping. Its type material came from the Bluu River in the upper Mahakam basin. Tiger is the supplier common name; it does not by itself establish an identical pattern or an exact collecting site for every fish. The 3-5 cm measurement is the offered grade.

Prepare stable, filtered receiving accommodation and confirm measured holding water, food acceptance and adult space needs with the supplier before transfer. Keep sheltered bottom areas and check that each fish reaches its food without competition. Obtain the supplier species-specific long-term water, flow and feeding regimen. Provide smooth bottom refuges and monitor condition and food acceptance.
