It is essential to feed them small portions multiple times a day to mimic their natural hunting behavior. Compatibility with other species should be approached with caution, as their predatory nature may lead them to view smaller tankmates as potential prey.

Acclimation should be done gradually to minimize stress, ideally over a period of several hours. Packing density should allow for adequate oxygenation, ideally shipping no more than 5 individuals in a standard bag to reduce stress. They are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, so maintaining a stable environment between 24°C and 28°C during transit is vital. This species is not listed under CITES, ensuring smoother export processes.
