Recommended water parameters include a temperature range of 24-28°C, salinity levels between 30-35 ppt, and a pH of 7.8-8.5. A well-maintained aquarium with a minimum size of 50 liters is ideal to accommodate their burrowing behavior and social interactions.

Feeding Pistol Shrimp is relatively straightforward, as they are carnivorous and thrive on a diet of high-quality frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Compatibility with tank mates is essential; they generally coexist well with peaceful species but may exhibit territorial behavior towards their own kind or similar-sized shrimp.
